Yesterday evening, we were in Darrow, LA taking a few shots for our upcoming show at Spanish Moon in Baton Rouge on Saturday, October 4th. The top two with DM and Torrence in them were taken at The Cabin, a local tourist attraction and the bottom one, featuring Thurman, was taken in a field. We got about three good group pics that will be used for promoting the show. Those particular money shots you'll be able to see soon!
Food Network Shoot
Today we got the pleasure to shoot some stills of food for the Food Network! They're doing an upcoming segment on alligator and it just so happens that a spot here in Baton Rouge, Frankie's Dawg House, has the best alligator dawg around. We, along with our friend Drew Reilley, were able to style and shoot this delectable dawg, aiming to capture it's goodness in hopes of calling any on-looker's salivary glands to full attention. Below are some BTS (behind the scenes) shots for you to peep.
Sutro Baths, San Francisco, CA
All pics shot and edited by: ASKTHETHOMASBROS
On March 14, 1896, the Sutro Baths were opened to the public as the world's largest indoor swimming pool establishment. The Sutro Baths were a large, privately owned swimming pool complex near Seal Rock in San Francisco, California. The facility was financially unprofitable and is now in ruins.

CREAM! What can we say? Words cannot express the simplistically delicious awesomeness packed within every bite of these ice cream sandwiches! Yes...ice cream sandwiches. CREAM is an acronym that stands for Cookies Rule Everything Around Me. As we walked into their original Berkeley location, the familiar sound of "Back Dat Azz Up" was booming throughout the cozy parlor that was crammed with hungry college kids. This little reminder of home made our level of expectation even greater.
The process is very simple, you pick your cookies from a wide array of options from basic chocolate chip, sugar, and oatmeal to vegan recipes for those more conscious of their food choices. Next, you select your all natural ice cream, and yes, this too is as healthy as ice cream can get. The hard part is choosing the right flavor to compliment your cookie for maximized enjoyment. The last step is to sink your teeth in and savor the masterpiece you hold in your palms. CREAM is exclusively a California brand at the moment, so if you ever find yourself in Cali, this desert destination is a must! Go ahead and follow them @cream_nation and check out their site at www.creamnation.com.
#TBT Umami Burger
Despite our slight frames, we enjoy eating and on this trip to Los Angeles we were determined to search for some local hot spots to dig in to. After two recommendations, we decided to check out Umami Burger. Named after the fifth and lesser known taste, an Umami burger is anything but forgettable. Umami Burger has a very unique aesthetic and it's stylish looks are matched by it's high standard of food quality and preparation. All meat sourced to create an Umami burger is from grass-fed cows. With high quality meat, they suggest that you consume their burgers medium rare to ensure full flavor. We decided to try the truffle burger, which obviously has truffles ground in with the meat. This burger met and exceeded our expectations leaving us searching for other locations in Northern California for the second leg of our trip. Mmm mmm good!
Supreme Los Angeles
On our first day, our good friend and Los Angeles tour guide, Rose, brought us to Fairfax Ave. This street seems to be the mecca for some of the coolest brands that we've seen, and home to probably one of the most recognizable street brands of all time, Supreme. With literally only two brick and mortar stores in the United States (it's sister store being in NYC), we couldn't pass the opportunity to rummage our way through this urban landmark. Supreme is known for its iconic red logo and interesting collector's item collaborations ranging from custom branded toothpicks, Rawlings baseball mitts, and Hanes underwear. This store is particularly unique because it features a skate bowl...INSIDE the store! We decided to break a few house rules by actually going inside the bowl, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot. All in all, the Supreme Fairfax store should definitely be a destination if you find yourself in Los Angeles.

Standard Razors
We'll admit neither of us have enough facial hair to get some good use out of these, but we can't deny how cool they are to look at and how great they feel in-hand. If you're not familiar with types of razors, these are double-edged safety razors, much different from run of the mill cartridge razors. Shaving with a safety razor can be likened to steeping loose leaf tea as opposed to using a tea bag or grinding your own coffee rather than snagging a store bought pre-ground bag. These particular double-edged razors by Standard Razors are all about supreme quality for an enhanced shaving experience, which they mostly attribute to their precision-machined shaving geometry. Being lovers of minimal design, we can't help but dig these matte finished, aircraft grade aluminum beauties.
