Shot By Dorthy Ray

Yesterday we had the pleasure of shooting with one of our good friends Dorthy Ray! This shoot wasn't our first rodeo with "Dorth", though it was probably our third if my memory serves correct. Anywho, every time we get together, flowing creativity, lots of laughs, and our own brand of playful obnoxiousness can be expected.

Out of all the photographers we know, Dorthy is probably the most "artsy" and efficient by soaking heavily under the shower of inspiration. To put it plainly, if she ain't feeling it, it ain't gonna happen! Her personality and how she directs talent from behind the camera are two major reasons why awesomeness oozes out of the shots she takes.

Google Glass

Got to try on Google Glass for the first time the other day. Even though I couldn't really get the full experience because the battery on these was super low, they still seem pretty dope. Peep all they can do here!

Listening Party

Last night, we got to play a part in experiencing James Jackson's listening party. James is a close friend and musical colleague of ours. We first crossed paths in Whole Foods about two years ago and since then, we've always been avid supporters of each other's work.

Those familiar with our music will recognize James' one-of-a-kind voice featured on our debut single, "Glow in the Dark".  The purpose of this party was to feature his latest work titled, "Baton Rouge: Another Side". Events like this are great for community in bringing together various individuals to vibe out and enjoy some great sounds.

Big shout to our creative home base, The Walls Art & Design Center for hosting this event. For more about James Jackson, visit www.smallworldtakeover.com
